Este domingo 7 de enero tuvo lugar la 75º entrega de los Globos de Oro, en el marco de una ceremonia que se desarrolló en el Beverly Hilton Hotel. Seth Meyers fue el conductor y ya desde su gran monólogo de apertura sentó las bases de lo que se viviría a lo largo de la edición, algo a lo que no fueron ajenos los mismos premios. 2017 sacudió a Hollywood hasta los cimientos con la ola de denuncias de acoso sexual y estas prácticas terribles ya no serán toleradas. En lugar de concentrarse en criticar a Donald Trump, como pasó en otras oportunidades, el conductor decidió poner el foco en el serio problema que aqueja a una industria necesitada de igualdad. Y los galardones también tomaron nota del cambio de clima. En términos de cine, se llevaron la mayoría de las estatuillas Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri y Lady Bird, en tanto que en televisión se los repartieron Big Little Lies, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel y The Handmaid’s Tale. The Future is Female y el presente refleja ese aire de cambio, dado que son todas historias protagonizadas por mujeres fuertes. Y no se puede decir que esto siente las bases para los Oscar, dado que es una de las carreras más impredecibles de los últimos tiempos. Pero pareciera que algunas tomaron la delantera…
